Samuelson’s Principal Roerig retires after nearly two decades

It was nearly two decades ago that Cindy Roerig became principal of Woodlawn Elementary School. Since then, the school has undergone massive changes including moving to Samuelson Elementary School and becoming one of the most diverse schools in the entire district. Through it all, however, Roerig has been a constant positive influence upon the children and community of the Lower Beaver Neighborhood. However, like all good things, Roerig’s tenure as principal is coming to an end as she retires on June 30.
