KCCI highlights Lower Beaver traffic concerns

Recently, a number of yellow signs have appeared throughout the Lower Beaver Neighborhood. The signs, provided by Des Moines City Councilman Carl Voss, encourage commuters to slow down along Lower Beaver Rd. and other streets. When the signs were made available at a recent LBNA meeting, residents along Lower Beaver were especially keen to place the signs after years of gradual increases in traffic volume and speed, illegal truck traffic, and more.
