Area organizations offer food assistance during COVID-19 shutdown

If your family has been financially impacted during the COVID-19 shutdown, there are multiple organizations in our area which are offering food assistance. Here are a few of them:

If you are unable to visit one of these locations, either in person or by sending someone else in your place, you may call 1-833-DMARC-20 (1-833-362-7220) Monday through Friday, 9a – 12p, to request a food delivery. Please note that there is only staffing for 50 deliveries per day, and they will be scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. Food will be delivered to your doorstep between 9a and 12p the following business day.

How can you help?

Area food banks have reported a dramatic increase in need during this time. Donating food items is always welcome, but because of the partnerships that they have formed, the food banks are able to make cash donations go much farther than in-kind gifts.
